Didn't they used to have a different name? Betty Buttons? Something like that.

Everytime I see them I think of those people that have a fear of buttons (especially as eyes) and how much they suffer on the toy aisle. Apparently it's a thing - not as prevalent as fear of clowns, though.

I am not sure- they did not seem familiar to me... I did not even think of that! I just thought they were cute, and I love the little tree house set!  I wonder how many out there have a problem with these b/c of the eyes??

Haha - I forget how I learned about that phobia. Probably Cracked.com or something. It can't be that common, I would hope! :-P

Yup they used to be called Bitty Buttons. They've been out for about a year or more I think? there's full size dolls and mini dolls. I've got 3 of the large dolls and the full set of the first single dolls. They also have pencil toppers where you get a pack of 4 - 2 doll heads and their pets.

I noticed those on ebay!  The first commercials I found were from the end of last year but I didn't hear about the other name until I just looked it up but it looks like they were only the big ones? Good to know thanks for sharing!

Am I the only one who sees those dolls and is immediately reminded of "Coraline"? Creepy!

Alright so I have to admit, I was out shopping today with my mom and they were on sale, buy 2 get 1 free so I got 6!!  Not sure if I am going to keep them or give them as a gift though! They are so cute but their legs seem a little flimsy.  I will open them up soon to check them out (once I decide which ones I am keeping).  I really do like them though!

@Snork YES!!! That was my first thought!

Also, Polyfect toys has made a fakie Lalaloopsy line already called Dizzy Doos -- they have the same kind of build and clothing except for Dizzy Doos are all cloth except for their large vinyl heads. They also have completely different faces. The eyes are shiny, somewhat "Anime" styled eyes, they have tiny round noses, and their mouths are not stitched on. I'll upload a photo later when it's not 11 at night.

^ Yup, that's them all right! :D

The Blue-haired one also comes in a yellow dress with bees on it, and there is also a pink-haired version of the purple girl that comes in a yellow and white dress with pink skulls on it.

ah thanks for sharing!!  I think these knockoff bigger dolls are cuter than the bigger lalaloopsy dolls!  But I still LOVE the mini ones- The mini ones are the ones I bought!

I found more pics of the dizzy doos here:
