New 80s/90s style toy - Bizu
« on: Saturday 17 September 2011, 07:01 am »
Saw these in the shops the other day and thought the concept of the product was really 80s/90s. Because you twist it back into shape it also reminds me of a balloon animal (without the fear of popping!)

I saw this commercial the other day and the first thought I had was that it seemed like an 80s/90s commercial!!  They look like a neat idea but I think they would be too complicated for me!  :-)

I work for the company that produces Bizu (Spin Master). They were totally inspired by balloon animals! They really aren't complicated at all, I love the funky retro styling.

Cool that you work for Spin Master! I have some suggestions! I don't want any credit for them I just want to see them happen.

Poseable/wiggable little sisters for the Liv girls.
More Liv guys in more skintones.
Doll sized Liv wigs with tinsel in them like the pink wig for the styling head.
Liv wigs with glow in the dark streaks.
Holiday themed Zoobles with matching happitats.
Glow in the dark Zoobles.
Plush Zoobles that transform.

I've recently learned how to make a few balloon animals and they're pretty hard to do! Did you guys muck around twisting balloons while making them? I was thinking it would be cool to make a toy like a balloon animal (without the fear of popping!) and then I go to the shops and there it is, obviously others were thinking the same thing! I'm a sucker for novelty design so I was thinking I'd pick some of these up. I'm hoping they'll fit my thick adult sized wrist. They look like they'd also be cool accessory to put on a handbag or belt loop or something.

i saw an add for these and it looked weird at first but interesting i would like to see how these turn out. In all i find it quite innovative for a toy.

Thanks! I forgot to mention I know there are light up Zoobles but I consider glow in the dark a different thing than light up. Glow in the dark plastic or paint doesn't need batteries and is cheaper to produce than electronic light up pets.
