I think we were arguing about the Magic Babies vs. Magic Diaper Babies (which I think are the same).

I agree!  Both by Galoob.  Just looks like different branding for different markets.

Those are the branch off of the Baby Face dolls by Galoob.

Lol sorry I got confused - I thought the ones posted on card as magic babies had mattel on the card (because the magic nursery are mattel so I thought Zuse posted because they're mattel) and yeah.

In Australia - we got li'l babies (like magic nursery and the FAKIES of magic diaper babies) in the sort of packets as 'magic babies' (magic diaper). We also got magic diaper babies in these packets (as pictured).

Oodles and Li'l babies aren't the same thing. Li'l babies (also known as magic nursery babies) are oodles WITHOUT the loop. Mattel stole the moulds.

O.K as for magic nursery (li'l babies) hacing a painted line (like oodles? with the loop but with some painted features?) I think this auctions includes one:

The one with the spoon appears to have no loop (thought the loop might've broken off). This person has lots of lots of li'l babies, magic diaper babies and oodles. Shipping is high though from the UK and the weight of the figures adds up

ROFL at toy aggressiveness! What do you reckon about the ones from ebay in the links I posted - the coloured ones (in purple, yellow etc...) I don't remember ever getting one of these in an Australian li'l babies pack - we only got cream or brown. Maybe they were exclusive to the UK/Europe (I've also seen them in auctions from England) or a seperate rip off?

That person is just confused and has mislabeled them. Those are Oodles (LJN).

I suspect that the colorful ones are Hasbro Lil Babies, like you said. I think that it was the most "popular" and prolific line... I could see them making other color so people would buy more to collect them all.

Now I'm really confused... so what's up with Ideal? Like, that one package says Ideal and Galoob.

That was apparently in France... those look like the smaller figures in that last eBay lot you linked to. So, they're Ideal... so the Mini Babies were through Galoob? They don't look anything like the Galoob US babies. It supposedly aired in 1993.
