Strange SSC Clone - Totsy (1992)
« on: Thursday 26 August 2010, 04:44 am »
This is the doll I have. Sadly it is missing an arm and the body doesn't match the head. She looks like she's trying to lick a dollop of something off of her nose. The back of her head says Totsy 1992.

It reminds me of this one on eBay (the eyes) but I don't know what that one is either?

I guess this came out too late to be part of the Fantasy Fun line. They look like they're trying to be either Cherry Merry Muffin or SSC clones?

(See, the eyes are completely different - also, they're from the 80s).

In other news, identified one of these dolls:
(I love the pixie dust that is included!)

The eyes and wings definitely match the yellow one I posted I'm not sure about my one with the purple hair. She looks like she's trying to lick something off her nose and her outfit didn't have wings Maybe she's something cooking related? :)

Now I want to know who drew the Totsy Box Art more than ever. For a company known for its fakies, they sure had some impressive original art!
