Hello all! I'm new here. My name is Laura, or you can call me Mrs B. I've been trying to find a forum of doll collectors or doll experts who may possibly have a wealth of knowledge on all kinds of dolls. I am not a doll collector and have minimal knowledge of dolls, but I recently came into possession of this one doll in particular that has been sending my curiosity up the wall.
She is a full size Cabbage Patch Doll, her box says she's a
2003 20th Anniversary edition. Her name is
Norma Sienna. I will attach photos so you all can see her. Her box is in not so good condition, it has been taped up quite a bit as it has been previously opened. But she is basically untouched and has not been played with. She is still tied into the box and has her birth certificate/adoption papers. She has a beautiful aqua green dress that all the 20th Anniversary girls appear to wear.
But I am having the absolute hardest time finding out any details about her! I have scoured Google and eBay and have not been able to find Norma Sienna. I have found one of the 20th Anniversary boys for sale on eBay, but not many others in this Anniversary edition. I have not even seen another like her. She has beautiful brown skin and gorgeous soft black curls unlike hair I've seen on another Cabbage Patch doll. I don't know if the 20th Anniversary Cabbage Patch dolls are just rare in general, or if she is a rare doll in particular, but I thought I'd at least have found another Norma Sienna somewhere on the internet. Someone else out there must have this same doll, surely?
I am looking for someone with any information. Has anyone seen her before? Any information on the 20th Anniversary Cabbage Patch dolls, and especially Norma Sienna? Are they really rare, or am I just not looking in the right places? Are there doll experts anyone knows of I can take her to? Any info is greatly appreciated!
