I really need help finding information on these figures
« on: Friday 17 February 2012, 08:26 pm »
I got them at Wal-Mart in 1994.
The date on them is 1994 and they were made by Just Toys, Inc.
They are called "Crystal Heart Collection" and are clear figures (plastic?) with a red heart glued to each ones chest.
On the cards I have there is a premiere edition and a second edition. I have all 8 of the premiere ones and only 3 of the second edition. It looks like there were only 4 of the second edition made but I'm not completely certain of that.

Premiere Edition: Bear, Rabbit, Dog, Cat, Frog, Monkey Elephant, Swan
Second Edition: Raccoon, Deer, Lion, *Horse (I do not have this one)

There is absolutly NO information about them online. I was wondering if any more of them were made, etc.
If anyone has any they want to sell that I don't have, please please please message me. thanks so much!

The only information I could find is all about trademark and licensing.
It seems the line was abandoned because of legal issues.

The trademark is available again for those who wish to apply.

probably not very helpful....

It's better than nothing :) Thank you!

I guess my biggest questions are

1. Were there any others made than the ones I have?
2. Why is there no info or pics of them anywhere?

Maybe someone will know! :) I hope!

I have never seen these before but they are really cute! They remind me of the glittery My Little Pony blind bag figures.

Calling all teddy experts! Please help me find my Cuddle Bear!

Adding a thread on here is always a start! :) Definitely subscribe to this thread and keep an active email. You never know... even if we don't find out much now someone 2 years from now may know a lot.

I did find this old listing from 2011 on Google: http://www.trademe.co.nz/toys-models/bears/other/auction-369031210.htm

So, apparently this line also existed in New Zealand? So, it being global is even better!

Hey, check out Bing Rewards. I've earned several $5 Amazon gift cards using it. :)

The line is definately global. They were also sold in Australia. I remember them in the toy section of Coles in the early 90's.
