Collectible Monopoly

Do you think it will be worth buying the current Monopoly board set before they get rid of one of the 'classic' tokens, from a collectible standpoint, or do you think it's not likely to become worth something as there are so many in circulation?

(This is the news that Monopoly is getting rid of a token, if you are interested you can vote to save your favourite here: https://www.facebook.com/monopoly)

I'd guess not. You can buy the original 1940's version with wooden pieces for under 50.00 pretty regularly.

There are some monopoly collectible editions but I don't know how the prices will grow as the time goes on since Monopoly was never a very sought after item as a collection piece.
