who is this horse?

i got this thing a few years ago and have NEVER been able to find out who or what exactly it is.

i know for certain tho that its NOT barbie, but that's all i could find.
please help me finally put an end to this mystery

Does it have any markings?  It definitely looks like something Mattel did.  Doesn't mean it's Barbie, because they did several plastic horses of that size (SilkyMane from Lady LovelyLocks for instance).

the only mark i can find on it is a "china"   on the inside of the back leg.

other features that might help.


i'm not sure if this photo shows it well, but this horse is unusually "solid" in build when compared to other horses of similar size,

the insides of the legs are all solid ( some plastic horses have a triangular cavity in the leg closet to the body. 

the hooves seam rather large when compared to other horses of similar size too (both longer , and wider )

the muscle tone / definitions are quite prominent and "chunky"  when compared to other horses of similar size.

the head is all so quite  blocky and square,  he has quite a think nose, where other horses ive seen tend to have a more narrow tapperd nose.

the raised leg  is  on the opposite  side to most other horses of similar size
