Jammie Pies
« on: Monday 03 May 2010, 12:22 am »

Does anyone else remember the Jammie Pies dolls? I have the one pictured (from Google) but there were several models and each came with their very own little pet. I was given mine in 1987 when I was born. They each had their own name, mine was Middy but I just called him Jammie and assumed it was a girl. Did anyone else have a Jammie Pies?

This website has pictures of a few of the different dolls:http://www.dollinfo.com/jammie.htm

There was another site I liked, but I think it's dead. I found this dead link: http://www.geocities.com/my_jammie_pies so I think it was that one. :( Stupid Geocities.

Here's a modified image from an ended eBay auction:
(They were also available in AA versions, because that's actually what the doll in that particular auction was).

Yeah that geocities site used to be awesome but now it's dead. My best friend had the white and pink bunnysuit one (Lollibye, I think) and my cousin had the one with the orange pompom and the blue overalls.

Must be a highly sought after toy.

Yes, they were only made for a couple of years so there's a lot of babies from the late 1980s that really want their childhood toy back. Some of the MIB ones are a bit ridiculous... but even some of the ratty ones can go fairly high at auction!

Aww, the strawberry one is so sweet!
I can't imagine selling my jammie pie and everyone else I know who has one feels the same. They are quite highly sought after.

We totally need a page about these:

There is finally an Archived version of the Geocities page! (oocities.com, reocities.com, and geocities.ws archived many Geocities sites, apparently!) :)

http://www.geocities.ws/my_jammie_pies/ Only one of the pages doesn't work (that I've seen so far).

Here is another scan from an old Playskool insert. These were under the Playskool Baby section. It not only shows the dolls, but some other baby items featuring these characters.
