"I just love helping take care of my new baby sis Katy! Could she be any cuter? Not a chance! Katy likes to take snoozes in her cozy purple and pink carrier. I wasn't even aware that there was a redesign (like "Mermaid Madness" and "Go-Go Glam" above). It was most likely a very short-lived one.

Does anyone know when the original generation stopped production? I remember seeing one of the two-doll packs in a Walgreens as late as 2004 or 2005 (and I have an awfully strong feeling it may have been "Hittin' the Slopes"). I certainly don't remember a Lizzie McGuire promo being attached as there is in the photo here, but that show's run was from the early to mid 2000s, so it's possibly a clue.
