Certainly a wild child
« on: Friday 18 June 2010, 02:56 am »
I couldn't resist this one little doll today. She's 9" and entirely plastic with only the markings "made in Hong Kong" all over her (head, body, clothing tag). She's a sweet little blonde with pigtails and has a red plaid dress and bonnet and white shoes and underwear. Now for the fun part...one hand is giving the love symbol like a hippie would, the other is holding her thumb and forefinger like a pistol. She must mean to say she loves the person she's pointing at. Who is she?

Does she look like this?

Sorry for the bad picture.

My doll is named Jennifer. I remember because my aunt thought it was cute to give me a doll with the same name as me.
Mine is made by Lucky. Here is the tag from her original dress.

Those are her hands but not her head. She's got higher ears and thinner eyebrows and her mouth is kinda pursed like she's saying something. Maybe she's a knockoff of this doll or the other way around.
