Barbie ID help!
« on: Monday 02 August 2010, 03:20 am »
Hi, I got a big bag of Barbies at a yard sale and I need some serious ID help!

90's Barbies. 1/7 IDENTIFIED: Picture Pockets Teresa (second from right)

Newer Barbies. These are the ones I'm most curious about.

Here are some closeups:

Very pretty face with narrow eyes. She has faint pink streaks in her hair.

I love this one. She has a really cool purple plastic crown-type thing in her hair. IDENTIFIED: Teresa as the Fairy Queen from the Barbie in Swan Lake line

I thought this one was unusual because her eyes are brown instead of blue.

IDENTIFIED: Jewel Girl Barbie

The clothes. I know the two dresses on the top right are from The Princess and the Pauper, but I don't know any of the others. I really want to know what the second dress down on the right is. I suspect the burgundy dress and fur shrug at the bottom are Bratz because they're too small for Barbie and because there was a Bratz doll in this lot, but I can't be sure.

Any ideas?

I have a question about the barbie in the first pic 2nd to the left with the pink undies. Are her shoes molded on?

The dress in the 2nd row on the left belongs to doll from the 2001 Picture Pockets line. I'm not sure who that dress belongs to.

@pikapal Yep, they are pink ballet slippers.  :) Thanks for the Picture Pocket ID! After searching, it turns out that the brunette doll in the first picture is the doll it belongs to, Picture Pockets Teresa!

@Linkachu Thank you! Apparently those pink patterned capris are hers. :)

The one with the purple crown thing is Teresa as the Fairy Queen from Barbie Swan Lake. The dress (second dress, right) is hers without the sleeves.

The (top left) dress looks to be from this line or one similar. Perhaps Barbie and the Magic of Pegasus.

Ooooooh yay! I'm so glad that dress is hers, I had her wearing it earlier just because it looked good with her crown. It's also awesome that she's a fairy. Thanks Batty!  :D

Hi! Your doll with the Flexi waist is called Jewel Girl from 2000. She is below :)

http://cgi.ebay.com/JEWEL-GIRL-BARBIE-FIRST-EVER-FLEX-WAIST-BRACELET-U-/290485516012?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item43a24936ec#ht_500wt_1156

The pink & Blue dresses on the first line are for both versions of Princess & The Pauper

Do the jeans have Barbie on the back pocket as they look like the 1980 Fashion Jeans Barbie's jeans.

Sorry if I have repeated what anyone has said I have been having problems viewing some parts..stupid computer

Teresa x

The first doll on the left in the top photo is Cool Shopping Barbie.

I also have the Barbie second on the left with the moulded-on ballet shoes and I would love an ID for her, too!

She might look like Britney Spears but the real Britney Spears dolls look different.  They have a different body type and larger noses for the face mold and are not Mattel. :)
