What is a good price for care bears
« on: Sunday 18 July 2010, 11:45 pm »
I found a vendor at a flea market that was selling vintage and new care bears. They wanted 10 dollars for some beat up vintage ones . Did I make the right chose by passing these up ?

Were they plush or poseables? Without accessories I've never paid more than $4 for a poseable (in really good condition) and definitely not much more for plush, you can pick them up for a lot less in good condition. In my opinion, definitely the right decision :)

They were plush some were 15 inches but had copyright dates of 200 something and the vintage ones where about 6-7 inches but had matted fur and stains on the fur eww. Thanks. No care bear  cousins although  or I might have picked them up.

I only pay like $5 for plush vintage care bears since most need TLC.  But you can wash them in the washing machine.  Just put them in a pillow case tied up and I think wash or soak (can't remember) in cold water. On the tag, it will say.

Thanks I have no idea why the prices at the local flea market have been so high lately. There is not much here but those who have toys look like they want lose -mint prices when the toys are not lose -mint but one grade lower since parts are missing.
