I found an excellent mixture of items in Westcliff’s various charity shops on Saturday, including three LP’s, two annuals (Jackie & Magpie), a little Bagpus, a Lalaloopsy doll, a plush Moshi Monster, and my best find of the day, a Dolly Surprise doll from 1987!
Wednesday’s charity shop finds were and amusing mix! I found three My Little Ponies, a Forgotten Realms trilogy box set, and a well-loved Doctor Who “Dalek Sec Hybrid” mask!
I found a few little things on my way home from work Wednesday, though admittedly the plush My Little Pony isn’t that little! I also found a very played with small MLP, a Zelf, and Splash DVD.
I’ve had quite a dry run of late where charity shops are concerned, so was determined to buy something a few weekends back no matter what! I came up trumps with five LP’s and an (empty) WHSmiths anti static turntable mat sleeve.
The Game Of Thrones stamps were released 23rd Jan 2018. I pre-ordered both the presentation pack and the stamp sheet set and eagerly awaited their delivery. Then promptly forgot about them until they landed on my doormat!
The Classic Toys stamps were released in August 2017 and feature ten different British toys, many of which I owned (a few I still do).
A few little finds this week. Tuesday took me over to Rayleigh for my annual teeth scraping, where afterwards I rummaged through various charity shops little toy baskets and came away with a few cute items. Then Wednesday after work I purchased four books and three movies.
Mr Men books by Roger Hargreaves were and remain to this day one of my favourite series childhood books. Yet somehow I managed to miss the release of Mr Men stamps, which came out on 20th October 2016.
A bit of a mixture from the charity shops this week. I found a little Ridgeway Steelite milk jug with a 1950’s design for £2.00, The Tommy Cooper Joke Book for £1.00, and lastly the Desperate Romantics DVD for £1.50.

This weeks finds was Ladybird book “Snow-White and Rose-Red”, from their Well-Loved Tales series, and a special 20th anniversary edition of E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial on DVD. They were both 50p.
I’ve had my eye on this super cute, heart-shaped Polly Pocket bag for a while now, so decided to snap one up this week before it was too late.
An unexpected trip down the road to buy brushes for broom handles at the weekend resulted in this random selection of items from the Lions Club charity shop. I found a Palace Pets cat, a My Little Pony, a dress-up doll, a panda purse, Ghostbusters, and the craziest duvet set I have ever seen!
This years first charity shop finds had a bit of an unintended theme. DISCO!
