3rd Series Dolls [1990]

"Cherry Merry Muffin fantasy, real ice cream food play! This year Cherry Merry Muffin doll and friends have a yummy ice cream theme and all are scented with favourite icey flavours: cherry, peach, grape, or cookies 'n cream. Each doll wears a sparkly dress, has long hair to brush and style, and comes with an ice cream cup friend that transforms into a real ice cream dish for girls. Also included are real ice cream toppings, a Baskin-Robbins taster spoon, and a coupon redeemable for a free child-size Baskin-Robbins ice cream cone with any purchase of a regular one. Coupon expires 3/31/92."

There were five dolls produced in 1990 and were ice-cream themed. Only Cherry returned from 1989 with three new dolls being introduced. Each doll had sparkly, pastel coloured hair, wore a body-suit under either a skirt or balloon trousers and had painted on shoes. Their eyes were slightly different from series 1 & 2.
