“Drink your vitamins and like ’em!”

These illustrated ads by Walter Early for Borden’s Hemo, a fortified chocolate malted milk drink, date from 1942-46.

The ads featured a cartoon illustration of Elsie the Cow and a newly frisky Elmer at the top, with various text underneath. I’ve included one full ad and cropped the rest to the top illustration.
