“There’s gaiety in the taste of it…”
This is what happens when I have a few days off and decide to go through the adverts within Life Magazine from 1940!
A lot of ads from this time have a photo-story feel, with three or so images, a catchy headline and the working of something out. I wondered how the ads would look if I cropped out just one of the images. The result? Madness!
