If there are other books after its title listed then it is a re-print.<\/p>\n<p>To tell approximately what its year of print was simply cross reference the <strong>number of books listed so far in the series<\/strong> (back cover) with the <strong>sale price<\/strong> (back or inside) and Ladybird <strong>books tally<\/strong> (also back cover if included).<\/p>\n<p>From <strong>1969<\/strong>, Ladybird books had <strong>2\/6d 12<span style=\"font-size: 8pt;\">1\/2p<\/span><\/strong> stamped on the back ready for decimalisation in 1971. Books with a black block on the back have been re-priced (usually from 15p to 18p).
