Cherry Merry Muffin dolls were produced in 1988-90 by Mattel and each year a new line of dolls were made with a different theme. They were 6.5" high and scented acording to their names (like Strawberry Shortcake). Along with the dolls and their accessories, there were also playsets, fashion wear and miniatures made.

Dolls [1988]

There were five dolls produced in 1988 and were muffin themed. Each doll had curly hair/wavy, wore dresses with aprons and had little painted-on shoes.

  • Betty Berry with Flavour Friend Li'l Dip
  • Cherry Merry Muffin with Flavour Friend Cherry Sweet
  • Chocolottie with Flavour Friend Chocolate Drop
  • Banancy with Flavour Friend Bitty Banana
  • Apple Amy with Flavour Friend Apple Buddy

Dolls [1989]

There were six dolls produced in 1989 and were cake themed. Only Cherry and Chocolottie returned from 1988 with four new dolls being introduced. Each doll wore a different dress from 1988, a cake shaped hat and painted on shoes.

Dolls [1990]
There were five dolls produced in 1990 and were ice-cream themed. Only Cherry and Great Grape returned from 1989 with two new dolls being introduced. Each doll had sparkly, pastel coloured hair, wore a body-suit under either a skirt or balloon trousers and had painted on shoes.
