My Childhood Bunny
« on: Tuesday 02 November 2010, 01:17 am »
OK all I have not been able to find this for a long time. When I was little I had this plush bunny. He wore blue overalls and had a striped shirt with yellow, green and red. I took him everywhere with me. He had a zipper in the back of him to store stuff in. I remember when I would stay the night at my grandmas I would just pack him with clothes. His eyes were plastic. Had to be late 80s or early 90s.

I am trying to think of things... that might matter... He wore no shoes. He was not white more of a beige color. That is all I can think of at the moment.  ???

Maybe those were not his original clothes?

No that's not him. His clothes were his body. Nothing could be taken off. He had the big bunny teeth and his eyes were white and black. Maybe I could draw a picture on paint... lol but it would look like a child drawing. :P

Wow! That is SO familiar!

Maybe I can keep a lookout for you at thrift stores. It's just on the tip of my mind . . .

He reminds me of Dylan Rabbit from the Magic Roundabout (but without the stripy shirt)!

*bump*

Anyone know him? Kind of makes me think of a pajamas plush I had (it came with a nightgown that was zipped into a pouch in the back!) Mine was a white cat wearing red pajamas, though!

Vintage Monkey Pajama Bag

Probably by the same company (no maker/year listed on auction, though).

All I could suggest is have the seller of the monkey do a super thorough check and see if they can find a maker. Some people may not know to list it as a pajama/pyjama bag and maybe you could find it by maker/brand?
