[ID: Musical Suzy] Pink Baby
« on: Sunday 14 March 2010, 04:53 am »
I don't have a picture or a make of the doll. I had it since I was a baby so around the late 80's.
The doll was a soft pink color. She was soft all over like a teddy bear but her face was plastic. She laid on her stomach with one arm in front of her face kinda. At one point I think she had bangs but someone cut them off. I would really like to know what this doll is since i lost mine and would like to try and find one. If i come across any more info write it on here.

I drew a picture that may help.

This doll looks much older thank your doll probably was, but it's very close to your description so I thought I'd post it anyway:

She kinda looked like that but she all soft like the top part of the doll in your picture, there was no outfit or anything on my doll.

How would you describe the material she was made of? Was it more furry or more like fleece?

I came across this while looking at Sears catalogs for the dollhouse thread. Is she the one?

Sure! Yeah, that's what I was thinking, that her accessories got lost. However, that might not be the right one, since it seems like a popular idea. But at least the year seems correct. I hope she is the one!

Oooh this is strange...after you posted that picture I found this doll waaaaay back in the 1967 FAO Schwarz catalog:

Toy companies recycling ideas? It seems probable, with all the 80's/90's toys being remade now.

Glad she was tracked down!

Hasn't this doll been identified as the one in the first picture?
