Hello !

A friend of mine is searching about a playset that he has seen in a French catalog (a sort of catalog like Sears with lot of things inside) when he was a kid in the Eighties.

He has seen it one time only since this period, once in a French ebay offer in 2008 that is cancelled now...

Well, he thought it was :

- A playset that represent an house.

- It was like small universes and figures (Koeda chan, Feber family, Pin y Pon, Vulli, etc...) or maybe for small dolls like SSC but not for bigger dolls as Barbie.

- It could have two figures to come inside.

- About the house, it would be a house about cakes, candies, sweets, cookies, etc... but not look like a Christmas gingerbread one !  

- The house possibly had a roof that can open and let the place to an other room...  

- It possibly have upstairs and a lamp that really lights...

- The roof of the house can be biskits, or stickers that represent biskits...


Sorry because all are only "possibilies" and we have no picture, he only think about what he thinks to remember...  

Does anyone have an idea please ?   All is welcome !

Look up Siri_Mae on Flickr (she also has another site primarily devoted to these types of playsets, Koeda Chan, Takara, etc). It does look like it could be a Japanese creation. She has the biggest collection Of these sorts of toys that I have seen so far, you might find your candy house there. I am interested in this thread because I too am looking for a similar product, except mine was a pink telephone house. I cannot find any info on mine either; I will keep an eye out for your candy house during my search though!

That is the link for the second site I mentioned (has a black background, lots of photos) or she does have a flickr account too with quiet a few samples. But I'd give the flickriver one ago first; I just checked it and there are a few little houses that resemble yours, but with different themes. You could contact her and make an enquiry Hope this helps!

Might be part of something called 'Lucie Village Maison Surprise' which seems to be the French version of the Japan lines. In Google images there are a few houses, chapels, etc that look similar.

Thank you Skyhorse82 but I do not think it is for figures like Lucie Village...

I have an other picture that was made by the person who had the house before giving it.



We can see that PVC figures are a bit smaller for the house... aren't they ?

I have this house and I remember it used to play a song and the lamp and the red circle outside really lights on. I will try to find more information, I remember this was my favorite toy. My mom thinks she remembers it comes with some little figurines but she is not really sure.

I'll post some pictures of my house this Monday.

Are there any maker's marks on your house anywhere. I think that would be a huge help.

No Wardah, there is no marking on or under the house expect "Rainbow Cream House" on the sticker on the door...

I was asking evenstar since they claimed they had the actual house on hand and could search on it for any small maker's marks.
