My First Doll
« on: Saturday 15 October 2011, 06:12 pm »
I believe that this was my first doll, and I know that growing up, she was my favorite. I'm in the US, but my Granny got her from me from France. I had never checked her markings until today, when I discovered that the clothes that I'd put her in were actually the clothes that she came in. ;) Her neck reads "87/5 M13 Corolle Made in France." I named her Sara when I was young, and she's now my daughter's doll. :D Just wanted to share. (I've only found two online; one of them was blonde, and the other had marker on her face.)

One of my first dolls was also a Corolle! I had two fancy ones with dresses and then my grandma also gave me a whole wardrobe of dresses that she had made.

I imagine I also had some baby dolls but I don't think I even have pictures of them.
