[ID: McDonalds Toys] Muppet Babies and cars - 1986 - McDonalds - China
« on: Saturday 03 December 2011, 08:52 pm »
I KNOW that Miss Piggy goes to the car that she's in. HOWEVER, I found the red car out of the blue and bought Gonzo to go with it. When I looked it up to see if they went together, I found several pictures (mint in package) of Gonzo on a tricycle, but no pictures whatsoever of the red car. Does anyone know anything about this?

I have the red car, it belongs to the McDonalds Ducktales toys. I have it pictured here:http://www.flickr.com/photos/jadestoys/5119708348/in/set-72157625109694909

That is awesome! Except... they're actually different. The one that I have is painted yellow where their hands are. But wow - they really used the hell out of this car mold!!!!

The McDonalds book says the Ducktales one has the yellow windshield. They also used the mold for Garfield but his is blue.

catlover51, My red cars (without the yellow winshields) definitely came with the ducktales toys, as they are originals from my childhood. So McDonalds must of released both typres of red cars with the ducktales toys. I'm from Australia.
