[ID: Star Fairies Playset - Galoob - 1997] Help finding an obscure toy line?

Hey guys, I'm kind of new to this forum but I've been using the site to help ID some toy descriptions my friend throws at me from time to time and this one has me stumped...

I wish I had more info but here is what I got from her:
It was a play set with figures that when you placed them on the set (in various spots) they lit up. Possibly had animal figures because she remembers a pony or something that she associate with MLPs. From what she told me that the figures were probably the size of MLP Ponyville ponies.

I know that currently right now there is almost a set like that on the market right now but the set she is describing is older (80's or 90's). Again I wish I had more info x.x

Do you know the name of the line that's being made now, or possibly a picture? Perhaps seeing the new toy will spark (lol pun) someone's memory on the old ones.

the current line it makes me think of is the light sprites line. I'm not even 100% sure they are that similar

Hmm, well, the concept doesn't look that familiar to me, but it is a really cute idea and maybe someone else will know it.

Well the light sprites kind of work on a slightly different concept, they are just the only things I can peg this to being similar to... sad to say x.x

So far I found mention of one that is called "Secret Twinkle Tea Party."

There may also be one called "Cozy Light Cottage" - I saw it mentioned in an old post on the MLP Arena - I think the post was from the mid-2000s, though.
