Barbie, Sindy and Various dolls - help!
« on: Sunday 11 March 2012, 04:20 pm »
I picked up a bunch of dolls today at a car boot sale and I'd love help to ID them!  ;)

First is this Mattel Inc 1966 Philippines doll: - ID'd as German Speil Mit Barbie

This lovely, jointed brunette Barbie marked Mattel Inc 1993 China:
ID'd as Horse Riding Barbie - does anyone know where this outfit is from? It's Genuine Barbie.

These random dolls.... The red-haired one is Disney, so I'm assuming it's Ariel?

This little doll:

These Sindy dolls:

Now, I know that this is Crimp and Curl Sindy -- but all the other ones I've seen have only one-coloured hair, whereas this one has blonde with pink and blue all through it. Is she a variant?
I'm thinking the other one might be Gallop Fun?

Thanks for any help xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I think the middle doll in the third pic is some kind of Cabbage Patch doll but I can't tell how big they are since there is nothing familiar in that pic for scale. If that Ariel is about modern Polly Pocket sized tho I might need it.

I reckon someones coloured Sindy's hair in with highlighter/texta and it's faded over time. I reckon it looks pretty good though

Maybe the Cabbage Patch is a Lil Sprouts doll.

The blonde doll in the pink ball gown type dress is apparently from some sort of Pet Rescue/RSPCA type of set.

Does anyone know anything about this? I looked online and couldn't find any info or dolls who looked like her.

The third picture, far-right is probably a "Heart Family" doll. :)

Hi
The Pink dress on the Brunette Barbie is genuine. It is for Sticker Craze Barbie 1997.

Your most welcome.

You are right about the doll in Pink, not sure where you live but in the UK she comes in the Animal Rescue playsets. She has the older style face but here are some examples of sets.
