Help needed with a carebear

I found this carebear at a bootsale with assorted other 80's toys like wingdings and keypers.

Its Friend Bear, but its yellow? (Should be orange?)

Looking at face, tongue and eyebrows, i think its Birthday bear with Friend bears logo?

Anyone have any ideas? could it be an error where the wrong logo was put on another bear?

It has its carebear button on its bottom, but its tag has been cut off right at the base that would have said the bears name, dont know if this was done at production as its removed right at the base of the bear.

It looks like one of those delightful factory errors. It is a pity the tush tag is missing.
Maybe it can be Frienday Bear.

Hi, thanks for the reply, I was thinking maybe a factory error too, somehow this chap fell on the pile for a friendbear logo.

would explain the tag being cut right off, guess he should have been thrown away, maybe someone at the factory decided to take him home instead lol
