IDed: STARCASTLE TABLE; DREAM GARDEN CHIPMUNK
« on: Monday 13 August 2012, 08:13 pm »
TABLE:  From Starcastle Magical Teaparty
CHIPMUNK: From the Dream Garden line

So, I got these two pieces in a yard-sale toy-lot, and while the chipmunk-thing and table  seem to go together, I can't be certain.

Despite forever on the web and every search term I could think of, I can't figure out what they are.  Perhaps a dreadful knock-off of the chipmunks?  Or some toy as yet unknown to me?  Bugs me that I can't find this out!  lol

The only markings are on the back of the chipmunk-thing.  "CHINA" it says.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Maybe Furry Families or perhaps a knock-off that was like Furry Families. That would be my guess my sisters and I all had Furry Families when we were little and it really reminds of the animals from the sets.

I googled those and can't see anything like this; thanks for the suggestion, though!  :)

Did you try Teeny Weeny Families? Or Itsy Bitsy Families?

I just checked them out, and they don't appear to be those.  They do appear to be some kind of knock off, but I can't be sure, so I'm still looking.  Your suggestion is very much appreciated!   :)

SO, through a random twist of fate, I stumbled across the ID of the table---which does not appear to be part of the chipmunk set.  It is part of the Starcastle Magical Teaparty Set, featured in a VERY blurry picture on this very site:

Shown clearer in this photo from an ebay lot of random StarCastle Items:

I think I may have found your chipmunk in a Dream Garden playset.

I hope this is it.
