Strange Greek hedgehog toy?
« on: Wednesday 15 August 2012, 02:19 am »
I'm afraid I have no pictures, but I just found it odd that I found a thrift store toy in the US that came all the way from Greece!

Well, I'm pretty sure Greek was the language on the tag. I could be wrong.

It was a stuffed hedgehog with blue "spikes" that were made of a saran type of hair... it was kind of like My Little Pony hair but it had a much stiffer texture. The arms and legs looked like they had been knitted and they were oddly colored and patterned. I have no idea if this was a fix or if they came with the doll. I don't remember what the eyes looked like and it looked like the nose had been bitten off.

The tush tag was threaded on its bottom on both sides, so it didn't flap outwards like a traditional tag- both sides were anchored down.

I just wonder if maybe I could get some info on it. I didn't buy it, especially since it was kind of in rough shape, but I'm curious. :)
