I've recently gotten in to SSC knock off miniature collecting, and saw this on ebay - the orange version of Very Cherry and green version of Cindy Cinnamon are not listed anywhere on any site or checklist, or even on card listings.

Are these customs, factory mistakes, or knock off of the knock offs?

Thanks!

Also, any head ups on any other knockoff miniature lines would be appreciated!

Wow!  That is crazy!  They look too good to be knock offs... or customs... perhaps later releases that have not been documented?

I swear I've seen them before... but I can't remember where. Is anybody on any SSC boards where they could ask?

Lanard also made the Crayon dolls shown here:

I wonder if these were minis for that line.

Hmm. I don't know?

Another pic from eBay.

Yellow looks like a repaint of Red. And Green looks like a repaint of Orange. I'm trying to think if I've ever seen these MIP. They were also made in Italy... maybe there are more we don't know about (did you see the toy makeup compact I posted?)

P.S. - Who is this? That's not one of the fashions you can buy...

Wahoo! But who are the yellow and green ones? Was there additional characters that appeared later? All the packaging just features the main three...

I personally think Eilonwe might be onto something with the Lanard Crayon Kids.

Hmm. The Yellow Lanard Crayon kid looks like a recolor of the Lemon doll (just without the green tights). But which one would look like a recolor of Very Cherry? She has a very large hat.

So far I've seen the yellow doll from that series and the green one.

Gina Green (But on the card illustration she's supposed to have red hair...?)

Also, a ccording to the package, there is 5 total of these dolls. And I've never heard about other outfit packs...

I hate to use the "P" word, but perhaps they were prototypes? Or they just made them another color just for fun? That auction did sell for fairly high...

Ok, dug up something new. I'm not sure how the companies are associated but Mel Appel apparently had the trademarks registered.

There's an entry for:
Very Cherry: http://www.trademarkia.com/very-cherry-73348663.html
Cindy Cinnamon: http://www.trademarkia.com/cindy-cinnamon-73348664.html
And...
Mickey Mint??? http://www.trademarkia.com/mickey-mint-73387497.html

Lucy Lemon isn't there either but there are a lot of entries missing for these. I don't even know why they're really posted, actually?
