motorized octopus

i do not know the toy manufacturer - the one i used to have (about 10 years ago) was appx 6" tall, red, hard plastic body housing the motor, soft rubbery plastic tentacles that were not motorized, a bandage on his head and a tear drop falling from one eye. when you turned him on, he would roll about on the floor until he hit an object, then would stop and turn and go a different direction. when you stepped on him he would go slower for about 5 minutes then resume normal speed. while he was moving, his head would turn from side to side. would love to find another. anybody?

Is it this?

I would probably contact the guy who runs that site and find out if there are markings on that toy. It may just be a '$1 store-Made In China' kind of deal. He just refers to it as 'Octopus Toy'.

Glad to be of assistance :) Good luck with the search, hopefully someone on here will recognise the little guy and be able to offer some more info.
