Pony Identification
« on: Friday 01 March 2013, 10:30 pm »
My daughter loves playing with my vintage my little ponies so I picked up some what I thought were newer ponies at a consignment sale. I have no idea if they are my little ponies or what toys they are. I was hoping somebody could help me out.  Thanks!

The first 4 are not from the My Little Pony line. They're what we call "fakies" . Pony 1 and 3 are Lanard fakies if I remember right. I don't know what company makes the two with diapers.. the last two are real My Little Pony. I think they're cake toppers made in the character of G3 (generation 3) Pinkie Pie. :-)

The diapered fakies are from... everywhere. Wal-Mart used to make them and package them with a whole smattering of different pony molds, all of which I've seen in other places (usually packaged together). They're ugly fakies as they are, but you can customize them to be pretty cool.
