[ID: Fairy Tails] Ponytail Holders with Doll Attached [Sep 2007]

Amanda emailed me this description:

"An item that I loved were little ponytail holders with a plush doll attached which had about 12" of long, small strand yarn hair. (I believe they were available in pink, purple or blue). You used the ponytail holder and then would braid the doll's hair in with your own. The end result was a braid with colourful yarn weaved into it and a tiny doll perched at the top of it. They were '80s toys probably prior to '85 if I remember correctly. They were not uber popular toys, however, in my group of friends, they were definitely the toys to have! Also, I don't know if this might help at all, but I believe they were purchased from K Mart. I don't recall seeing them at any other stores. I really hope you or one of your visitors will be able to help me. Thank you so much!"

Ooh! Yay. That one had stumped me awhile and I couldn't find a picture (it was asked about here once but the uploaded picture is gone now: http://z7.invisionfree.com/80s_Toyland/index.php?showtopic=1158).

(PS - that was a toy forum that had an ID help section but it seems to be nearly defunct now. But some of the archives are a good resource since a lot of unknown toys asked about are the same ones over and over again).
