Krista emailed me these doll descriptions:

"In the late 1970's or early 1980's my grandmother gave my cousin and I dolls for Christmas. The dolls were basically baby dolls that came with their own baby dolls. The bigger baby doll was probably about 2 feet tall and she was holding her own smaller baby doll. My doll (and her baby doll) came dressed in light blue and my cousin's came dressed in pink. Any help in identifying these dolls would be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much."

 Did your doll wind up with a key in her back and play a lullaby while moving her head and rocking the baby back and forth? If so it sounds like a doll my sister and I had Called June&Julie sold at Sears there's a few on ebay

Krista just emailed me to let me know that Bren41882 (above) was correct, her dolls were June & Julie dolls.

"I wanted to let you know that whoever replied to the entry that was established on the forum regarding the dolls I asked about was correct.  The dolls are the June and Julie dolls (as shown in ebay photos). 
Thanks very much!  The dolls are just as I remember them!"

I had these dolls!!!!!

They were known as 'June with the Tune and Julie' (at least in the UK).

Yay, happy memories! I actually had these dolls twice, once when I was around 2, then later aged around 8. It's great to see them again! xxxx
