Sorry for the horrid photo.  This is a toy I got for a Birthday present one year.  I regret that I cannot even describe the doll for you, it's been so long!!

*Just found http://news.google.com/newspapers?nid=1891&dat=19891008&id=PGgfAAAAIBAJ&sjid=59QEAAAAIBAJ&pg=7132,726382 with GOTD's info.  (Just peek up a little).  The packaging still isn't right, and there is no visible brand name, but the doll looks more similar.

If you look at the name from a distance it does look like "Cherie's"  She looks really vintage though, not like the one posted.

I really think that says Cherie's. I took it into Gimp and applied a few filters.
