Another super old pic I just found and was curious if anyone knew anything about them:

I just have the pic. No date or brand.

Hi there. :) I would say its a no-name china product. I had a polly-pocket-like-playset which pretty looked really similiar to this. It was a Ski-House and that was also the name standing in front of it. Is there nothin to see?

There might be a name on the bottom but unfortunately all zuse has is the picture not the toy itself. From the picture it looks a little too detailed to be a no name toy. It might be from a lesser known maker but it has got to have one.

Pets to go
Vivid imaginations 1998

I believe the compact makes a sound when the kitty is placed in its little bed.

Ii have one of those kittens for years! I have never seen it and knew nothing about it! Thank you for posting Zuse! I always thought it was barbie to be honest, from a vet set or something.

Excellent! I was going to post it on here as unknown!

I can't find anything on Pets To Go, other than a mention of a set called Kitty Ice Cream Parlour. Has anyone else had any luck tracking down any more information?

I may be onto something......

''Kitty in My Pocket is a collection of small cat figurines that was first released in 1994 by Vivid Imaginations.[1] As well the toys being sold individually, they were sold in groups and playsets. In 2007 the line was re-released by Corinthian Marketing/MEG Toys with the same concept, but with different designs for the cats. As of 2009 the Kitty in My Pocket has been discontinued.

During the late 1990s, the line - as well as the other "in My Pocket" animals - combined with the BBC programme Animal Hospital and the animal charity RSPCA to create animals that came with "injuries" (a paint that turned red in cold water). Eventually the original "in My Pocket" lines disappeared and fully merged with the Animal Hospital brand name.

The first generation of toys were initially released in individual blind packets. Later releases came in blister packs containing multiple figures. Family group figures were also released that came with a mother, kittens and a basket. A play set was also released that consisted of a plastic house that folded out.

Two later variations on the line - Love 'n' Sparkle and Animal Hospital - returned the blind packet method of distribution as well as continuing blister pack issues.

Now digging for more information......

no I'm afraid you're on the wrong track, the "in my pocket" series are completely different. They only became flocked in the new reproductions in the past few years, the blind packet "in my pocket" were non-flocked realistic looking kitties.

These were just a not very popular toy line from the same creators. My brother has one of these sets, I'll take pictures of the set next time I visit him.

You're sure that these are part of the same series? I guess the figures do look like they are in the same pose. So the had non-locket versions?
