PJ Sparkles Help?

I recently bought a Pj Sparkles, and today I put a new battery in her to test her out. Her heart and ear rings light up fine, but the bracelet and bow are kind of weak? I've only really seen them flash consistently once, and every other try has been not at all or once towards the end. Is this normal, or is there something wrong that's causing them to not light up as well as everything else? Thank ya'll!
