looking for doll from the 1970's
« on: Monday 11 March 2019, 09:33 pm »
Hi,im wondering can anyone please help me to id a doll i had in the 1970's.She was a dark skinned doll. She was im guessing possibly about 18 inches tall. She had black curly hair. She was hard bodied and had moveable arms and legs. She had a place in her back where you could remove a lid and place coloured plastic discs and from pushing a little button in her front she would then sing whatever song was on each disc.In my memory she sang,Polly put the kettle on,3 blind mice,I think baa baa black sheep and possibly a few other songs too.I would dearly love to find this doll again and even to see a picture of her would be fantastic. Many thanks in advance if anyone can help me to find her again. To this day i don't know where she ever dissapeared to along with all my toys over the years. One of lifes great mysterys i suppose. :)
