Super Rich Barbie Playset? Gold Pieces.
« on: Tuesday 01 June 2010, 09:37 am »
I just purchased a bunch of barbie accessories at a garage sale. These ones really stood out. All gold. Looks like it's from a Super Rich Barbie Playset. LOL. Anyone know what set these accessories belong too???

Also some other pieces in the last picture that I am curious about. Any Info?

The shiny ones look like the barbie pretty treasures sets to me.
You've got some cool pieces there like the phone! Congrats!

Hi!  :D

I had some of this too.. The plate, the spoon, the heart necklace, the glasses and the teapots, but I can't remember where it came from.. Maybe was it part of the Barbie Fold'n Fun House?

Actually a few of these pieces might be Bandai Barbie's.
The blue heart necklace looks alot like my Bandai barbie's
The bow thing next to it looks like her earrings just missing the peg it hangs onto.
The cross actually reminds me of my old perfume pretty barbie's it was a bow though and all connected. Is the cross itself flexible? Her necklace was.
The aztec one sort of reminds me of disney's kida doll from atlantis.  But I'm nt sure. Hope this helps. :)

Immediately when I saw the cross necklace something about it was familiar. Then I realized that it looked similar to my Baby Spice doll's necklace. I did a bit of searching and it looks like it belongs to Posh/Victoria. Most of the Posh dolls wear this cross, but most seam to have a thicker band.
This one looks like the exact one:

And here is guide for the dolls:

I also recognized the necklace with the three things on it as Kokoum's from Pocahontas. It amazes me that I even remembered such a thing. Well.. I didn't remember right off the bat, but for some reason I thought it was related to Pocahontas, and was right.

The blue heart one looks to be a Titanic necklace, maybe. It's not from the Galoob doll and it's obviously not from the recent Barbie. I remembered there being knock off Titanic dolls (weird thing for me to remember, since I was pretty young at the time) and I found some on ebay, but not good pics. So I dunno if that is where the necklace is from, but it seems that these dolls would be around at about the same time as the Spice Girls dolls, and/or the Pocahontas dolls, so it's a possibility.
Here's the ebay auction I found with the knock off Titanic dolls:

although, it looks like that doll's necklace is pretty honkin big so maybe it's not her's.

Some of the dining set pieces look like they're from the "Barbie Special Collection Romantic Dinning with Ken" set from 1997.

The pink platter and the blue paper invitations are from Tea Party Barbie.

The blue plastic tray goes with some 1995 outfits.

/Users/marywernke/Desktop/tea sets.jpg

The Stacie outfit is #12613 Tea Set for Two
The Barbie outfit is #13037 You're Special.
The Skipper outfit is #12618 Tea Set for Two.

I've also seen the Stacie outfit with the blue tray, teapot and cups.
