[ID: Good Grooming Gals] Kidco bath doll with swan

I'd love help iding this doll!
I got her in the early 80's. She is the same size as MLP Megan. But I think I got her before MLP's came out - when SSC was big. Her hair was longer but I cut it as kid.   She is marked Kidco. She didn't come with the necklace, was wearing a flimsy blue dress that showed her butt, came with the swan and I think either bath soap or a sponge. I pretty sure she was a bath toy and that there was a blonde in pink as part of the line.

I have one of those dolls. She is for sale, but not in good condition. It's funny that you said she was the size of Megan, because mine came second hand in Megan's dress! haha! Anyway here she is:

Under a list of Kidco Trademarks there is a line called "Good Grooming Gals" with a doll named "Samantha Swan". This is the only pic I can find, but if you look REALLY closely you can see what looks like your swan in the pink box on the top right!



I'll keep looking for better images!

I did a quick google search and found mention of one more doll called Belinda Butterfly, so each doll must have come with a different creature. The search continues...

Ship off her fancy long dress, it's a soft washcloth for your little girl. She is new on the retail card. The card has wear. The plastic bubble she is in has cracks and partly loose. She is fine. Made in 1982 by Kidco.

I wonder what the 3rd doll in that series is? You can see the illustration of the butterfly one (with her comb/mirror) in the top right illustration on the box.

Her hair is so beautiful in the box and mine is so...loved. I think I'm going to have to reroot her if I can be brave.
