[ID: Sunshine Family's Dollhouse] Foldup Cardboard Dollhouses
« on: Friday 23 July 2010, 05:50 am »
I had these two fold up cardboard dolhouses when I was younger (I think they were my mom's or aunts).  They unfolded into like a four room house with two rooms on each side--like a kitchen, living room, bedroom, and outside part.  And there were little doorways into each room.  The rooms were decorated like in 70s decor.  I always thought they were for Liddle Kiddles, but now I'm not sure.  Wish I had pics.  =-(

So it's a smaller house then?  I know Barbie did several card board houses, but I doubt you would have thought they were for Kiddles!

Not ringing any bells for me, but sounds interesting!

It was about the size of a large box when flat.  The doorways were for shorter dolls, so no not Barbie houses.

I had a Victorian House type of fold out book when I was younger, and you fastened with shut with one or two ribbons attached to the side of the book.  Four sides, about 8 rooms.  Sound close?

Nope--but thanks for responding.  It wasn't a book and the decor on the walls were like from the 60s and 70s.

I've seen one of these in my grandmother's house, it was my aunt's when she was little (which would have been in the 70's). I don't think it went with anything. If I go visit her I'll see if she has it handy and take pics.
