Topsy Turtles were produced by Hasbro in 1988. There were five plush baby turtle characters, measuring about 6 inches high.

Each turtle came with a detachable, reversible shell which when turned inside out transformed into something else. They also came with one or two other accessories.

I have no idea if there were any other items produced or new characters in the line other than these five. They don't seem to have been very popular and there is no mention of them on the internet (other than in the eBay sales I found these images in).
