Large Lot of Toys to ID PHOTOS ADDED
« on: Monday 20 August 2012, 05:08 pm »
Ok, number one is a toy walking horse which is brown all over except for its muzzle and a little way above the hooves - can't remember what that part is called. Place a hand on her back and push, and she can either walk forward or backward. I've googled it, but could come up with the Barbie version, and while she IS from mattel in 1997, she's nothing like them. I think her mane may have been cut once as it's quite short, but she was second hand so I really couldn't say for sure.

Number two is a rather large light gold horse with a full flowing white mane. Her muzzle and the bit above her legs are also white, the rest of her is all the light brown colour. Her eyes are mostly black with white speared through them, with a little bit of brown at the bottom. She has eyelashes. There are no markings anywhere to tell what make she is.

Number three and four are little plastic figures of Disney's Jasmine - from the Aladdin trilogy - and Snow White, who may have come with the seven dwarves. On the bottom of Snow White it says she's from the Disney store and that she was made in China. On Jasmine's back it says she's from Mattel made in China in 1993. They're roughly the same size as each other. Snow White is holding a little blue bird on one hand and hitching her skirt up to reveal a gold shoe with a yellow bow on it. Jasmine looks like she's dancing. Any information on these two figures will be appreciated. - IDed.

Number five is a lot of dalmations. The first one is standing on his hind legs and is wearing a rounded top hat, which is brown with a blue band around the bottom of the hat. He also has a green collar. The markings on the bottom of this dog says he's made by Disney, that he's made in China or Chine, and the following letters and numbers MT 1 - 03. The second and third both have roses on their bottoms and are on all fours, sticking their bottoms into the air slightly. Both of these are wearing blue collars. The second says it is made by Disney. The third one says it is made in China, followed the letters KH and the word China again. The fourth dog is sitting on down on all fours. He's wearing a policeman's hat and has his head titled slightly to the side. The hat is blue with a gold insignia on the front. His collar is red. His markings say China KH China. The fifth and sixth are wrapped in christmas ribbons, one gold, one green. The one in green has his mouth closed and his eyelids are showing slightly. His markings say Disney China HF Chine. The gold one's mouth is open and none of her eyelids are showing. Her markings are the same as the one in green. Disney China HF Chine. The arms and head move on the one in the top hat. The head moves on the one in the policeman's hat. The heads move on the two with roses. On the ones wrapped in green ribbon and gold ribbon, the bodies only move BELOW the ribbons. These two have different markings, too. IDEd.

Number six is a squeezy plasticky doll holding an icecream. She's wearing a white jacket with hearts on either side where the buttons and button holes would go. The hearts also go all round the back, joining those on the front. Her shorts are red with what looks to be a zippy pocket on the left side. She has white shoes with white laces, and turned over socks with have a slight grey tinge to them. Her arms and legs are moveable. Her eyes are blue and she has rosy red cheeks. Her hair starts off plastic closest to her head, but her pigtails, tied with white ribbons, which may or may not having been put there in the factory, is wool. On the back of her head, which is also moveable, is the year 1984, I THINK, and the letters AA, with which may or may not be a J and an H in front of them. I need an ID on her, please.

I was also wondering whether or not to keep hold of all my old "Cereal Packet" toys, my Early Learning Centre toys and/or my mcdonalds toys.

Number One: Nope, thanks but my horse is thinner than that pony. The one I have appears to be wearing blue eye shadow, and has blue eyes.

Numbers 3 and 4, yep that's them. Thanks so much :)

I have two Rainbow Brite dolls, but I don't know their names. One has pink hair, the other has yellow hair.

My doll with the ice cream is the same size as them roughly, but has different eyes and is a little fatter. Her hair is different too, more curly.

Anyone know who she might be? A knockoff? A Rainbow Brite doll in a different mold?

I've been looking at this doll, and now I'm thinking Cabbage Patch Doll? A CPD knockoff?

Thanks for the links :)

I have Rainbow Brite and Baby Brite.

I wouldn't really know where to start. There's no link to Cabbage Patch Dolls there, and I really think that's what this doll is.

I would have never guessed Cabbage Patch poseable with the description.  I had a few of them, and they tended to use a few different molds but paint them differently so that like the Cabbage Patch Kids dolls, each was different.  They had names too.

I had several as a kid, and one did have an ice cream doll.

Yeah, that's a lot like mine, but mine has a real hair tail, and the tail on that one is molded plastic. But it looks like it's very likely a varitation - sp - on that horse. Thanks :D

i think the second one might be barbie western star. it was my favorite barbie horse because of all the tacky parade wear, which i lost unfortunately. http://www.shopping.com/mattel-barbie-western-star-horse/info
http://www.ebay.com/itm/1993-Western-Stampin-Barbie-Horse-/230864214974?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item35c0945bbe

if it doesn't have stamps on the bottom of the hooves it's probably barbie rosebud.
http://modelhorsegallery.info/M/Mattel/MATTEL35.jpg

prancer and sun runner have the same mold, prancer is white and sun runner has some darker brown dapples.

i remember the first horse but can't find the name.

I'm not sure what you mean by stamps? I'm pretty sure my horse is this one though. http://www.shopping.com/mattel-barbie-western-star-horse/info?sb=1

They're the same colour, but I can't see if there's any white marking on the lower legs.  Unless the first and second pictures are of the same horse?

Thanks :)
