Small 2.5" stuffed animals from the 90's

I'm trying to figure out what these guys were called. They are about 2.5 inches long. I got them in the 1990's...probably before 1996. I cut their tags off so I don't have any tag information available.

I got most of them from Target, I think. Each one was sold separately, however some of them came in family sets, with a mom and 2 babies, like the Tigers in the photo.



This is only about half of what I have, but I didn't want to stuff them all into the photo, lol. I vividly remember looking at them in Target whenever I went there, but I simply can't remember what they're called. I'm really curious to know what line they are from, or who they were made by.
