Any idea who this Fakie Pony is?
« on: Monday 09 November 2015, 05:01 pm »
I found her on ebay and the owner could give me very little information. Only that she was with a collection of other 80's toys. According to the owner there is no stamping on her and at this time I am unable to get her (due to a bidding war). So I was hoping someone might have an idea so I can go on a search for others like her.

Any help would be appreciated

She looks adorable.  It is a shame that the Fakies Ponies site no longer is up.   :'(  There were so many listed there that you could have had a great chance at finding her back on that site.

Good Luck with the hunt  ;)

What was that site called? I know in another area I posted a while back someone suggested a fakie site but I didn't even see her there XD

Sorry, I have no idea anymore.  Something like "Fakies guide" or so.  I deleted the link from my favorites when it went off line and the link just led to a free domain advertising page.  But it is almost a year off line now ...

Okay, so I just did some digging around in my internet history and the site was called: "Fakietopia"  But as you can see, it leads to nowhere anymore: http://www.fakietopia.com/fakietopia   :'(

That's a shame. I've still had no luck finding out anything of this fakie.. some have said they don't think it's a pony but it's really hard to say

I don't see why it shouldn't be a pony  ???  In my eyes she is one, a fakie yes, but a pony.  What else would they call her?

A deer I can still see with some imagination, but a cow  ??? ???  Nope, definitely not a cow.  I really think it is a fake pony.

it's an odd mix. Head looks G3, eye looks G2, and the body is an old G1 pose but with hooves.

Often the ponies with no markings were part of a larger set, usually with a doll- or with a bunch of different sized ponies.

I've seen plenty of CPPs to know she isn't one XD
My first thought was Lanard because of the eyes

Hmm didn't think about a set which makes it even more so tricky to track down
