Suzie Schoolgirl
« on: Friday 25 June 2010, 01:35 pm »
I had a doll way back in around 1985 called 'Suzie Schoolgirl'. She was a cloth/rag doll with wool hair and she was dressed in a school uniform (blue pinafore dress, shoes and hat). Lots of details were painted onto the material of her outfit - school badge, pencils in her pockets, shoe laces....

She had an elastic loop in one of her hands, as she came holding a crayon.

Does anyone remember this doll, or have any info or photos?

I lost her many years ago and I'd love to see her again xxx

I guess this isn't the right doll (saw it and went back to check this post), but really reminded me of the description. It's from 1981. :)

Wow! This is REALLY like her!

Definitely from the same line - she's almost identical!  ;D

Found a store that looks like they may have sold her at one point: http://www.mulberrybush.co.uk/toy-store/detail-suzy-school-girl.aspx

Also want to warn everyone that there's apparently a dirty movie by the name "Suzy Schoolgirl," so BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU SEARCH.

How frustrating that there's no photo!

That definitely sounds like her!
