ID help for multiple items
« on: Sunday 29 August 2010, 11:55 pm »
If anyone could help me identify some of the items on my website I would be most grateful.  I have 2 pages especially that I need help with
Other Toys and Treasures page 1 and 3

Here is the link

http://www.franshouseofdollsandtoys.com/other%20toys%20and%20treasures.htm

I also have a lot of doll clothes that have no ID - luckily I was recenty able to identify a couple of cupcake dresses from Eden Eye who just bought a couple of things from me.

You can always email me with the ID if you like

franswebsite@pacbell.net

Many thanks in advance.

Fran

Hi the Misc-12 item is from a x-men themed grooming kit . It had a bar of soap, comb , brush, tooth brush, tooth brush holder , cup , a packet of tissues , and I am not sure what else it had It came in a plastic draw string bag . That is all I remember I wish I could find this grooming kit in one piece again.

Misc-17 is Grubby from Teddy Ruxpin

RT-13 looks like a darling dino named Bronte but the jewels are gone and the rubber does not look like any of the ones shown on the page here.

Stamp-12

Mini Pink Lamb  looks like Firffels named Shamel, part sheep and part camel.  simmlar to wuzzles but uglier.

Oh and the "Girl on Skates" that is similar to Rainbow Brite

 - I bought her! She is from a set of PVC called Rainbow Kids.

Here is a link to the picture of the group of PVC figues, not sure if there are more.

Action-11 is Rubee from Golden Girl by Galoob.

Figure-05 is Cold Front from series 9 of GI Joe (he came with a vehicle called the Avalanche).

Misc-34 looks like the sponge brush from the My Little Pony Waterfall playset.

Hair-12 is a MLP comb, though there were several ponies with lavender combs, so I can't say who it came with exactly.

And, argh, I recognize Misc-30 (the umbrella), but can't remember what it belongs to!  In fact, I am pretty sure what ever toy it came with, my sister had it... cause I remember playing with it.  I am thinking it was a Barbie doll, but I can't be entirely certain.

Edit:  Yes!  It was a Barbie accessory... it is Dream Glow Barbie's parasol, minus the ruffle.  http://collectionbarbie.over-blog.com/article-barbie-dream-glow-1985-45911559.html
(sorry, the site is in french, but it just had some nice pictures)
