A trip down the road to the woodyard, then into the charity shop on the way back got me 9m of wood and these! A new Geoff Love LP, three 78’s, two knitting books with “interesting” fashion, and a Beatrix Potter book.
Music
“You Should Be Dancing” Vol 2 ~ Geoff Love’s Big Disco Sound
You can’t go wrong with Geoff Love, although I prefer the individual songs to the medley mixes.

78rpm Records
Of the large box of 78’s, I picked out these three.
- Nursery Rhymes ~ Uncle George’s Party
- Uncle Mac’s Nursery Rhymes (2nd Album) ~ Derek McCulloch
- Fidgety Feet/The March Hair ~ Humphrey Lyttelton & His Band

Uncle Mac’s Nursery Rhymes (2nd Album) ~ Derek McCulloch [1941, His Master’s Voice]
This one is my favourite out of the two children’s albums, mainly because of the slightly creepy voice.

Books
The Tale Of Benjamin Bunny ~ Beatrix Potter
I have a little collection of these books, but can never remember what I have already (I had this in paperback when I checked). This one is hardback with dust-cover, printed 1987/89 and in good condition.
Good Knitting With P&B
A good selection of cheesy poses in various knits. You can see the whole thing on Retro Musings here.
Machine Knitting Chic
This magazine is full of massive shoulder pads and over ornamented designs. I therefore could not resist its pull. Plus, 10p!
