Mimi and the Goo Goos were produced in 1994-1996 by Bluebird in the UK and Mattel in the US. They were a series of tiny baby figures with miniature playcases they could hide in. The Bluebird and Mattel releases were the same, with a few colour differences.

2-in-1 Surprise Playsets [US: 2-in-1 Playsets]

"Mimi and her friends the Goo Goos are having terrific fun in these exciting unique playsets. Each one opens out to reveal a surprise playscene which has a special movement feature operated by a thumbwheel. There's a Boom Box with a pop band inside, w Wedding Cake with a wedding feast, a Cash Register with a toy shop, and a Telephone with a cosy home."

There were eight 2-in 1 Suprise Playsets produced in the UK, four of which were also sold in the US (the other four, although shown in Mattel marketing material, never made it into the shops). All four of the US releases differed in colour in some way to the UK versions.

The telephones were the same in the UK and US but the two figures and pet cat were different colours. In the UK the figures were white and the cat was white with yellow, whereas in the US the figures were black and the cat yellow with purple.

The UK radio had green disc stages and blue pelakers inside, where as the US version had blue disc stages and green speakers.

Mimi's Toy Shop and Cash Register [US: Shopping Spree*]

There were a few colour differences between the UK and US versions, the main one being the cash register had a green drawer in the UK, where as in the US it was yellow. The other differences were the pony's saddle, the toy train and the building blocks attached to one of the figures.
