Year 2 Ponies

Year 2 had four sets of US ponies, plus three set of Plush ponies: Earth, Rainbow and Unicorns & Pegasi. Each set comprised of three characters taken from the original plastic series. There were also four non US variations.
Earth Ponies

Blossom and Cotton Candy made a return from Year 1. Bubbles and Seashell were the only two general release ponies ever made in a seated position. They are also the only two ponies to have a diamond symbol on their noses. Applejack and Bow Tie made a return in Year 3.

Each pony came with a flower shaped brush, a ribbon and a round scented puffy sticker with their picture on it.

There were several alternate non US versions.

Each pony came with a shooting star shaped brush with a sticker on the back of a shooting star, a comb, a ribbon and a round scented puffy sticker with their picture on it.

The Europen variations of Skydancer and Starshine were only sold in Austria and Germany.

Each pony came with a shell they could sit in that stuck onto the bath via a suction cup.

An alternative version of this set was sold in the UK, where Wavedancer was joined by two new Sea Ponies .
